Nöbetçi — Shift & Hours Planner
A planner for shift workers that calculates hours correctly and finds the free time that is really left between shifts.
Problem
Shift workers struggle to track two things at once. Shifts that cross midnight, breaks, overtime and night hours get mixed up when calculated by hand. The calendar may look “free”, but once getting ready, commuting and sleeping after a night shift are subtracted, real free time is much smaller. Someone preparing for an exam has no idea how many hours they actually have.
Solution
Shifts are entered in a few taps with templates; net hours, overtime, night hours and estimated earnings are calculated automatically. A timeline for each day accounts for sleep and commute. The “Plan” button spreads goals fairly across the free slots and clearly reports what does not fit.
Highlights
Free-time finder
Sleep shifts with the schedule: earlier wake-up before a morning shift, daytime sleep after a night shift. The remaining slots appear on a colour-coded timeline.
Smart planner
Goals like “12 hours of exam prep a week” are spread across days, leaving rest time after shifts and before sleep. Sessions can be moved by dragging or with the keyboard.
Accurate hour tracking
Shifts across midnight, break deductions and overtime in weeks that straddle two months are all calculated correctly.
